Solana Proposal Preliminary Vote, Inflation Reduction Target Raised to 30%
Prefer us on GoogleThe Solana network's two proposals to increase the transaction fee burn rate and accelerate the decline of inflation have entered the preliminary voting stage today. If both proposals are approved, the annual inflation reduction will be raised from the current mechanism to 30%, expected to reduce approximately $1,360,000,000 in new SOL issuance over the next six years; at the same time, the daily average SOL burn amount will increase from the current approximately 650 SOL to about 9,000 SOL.
