Metaspins has added a prediction market service for trading the outcomes of real-world events to its crypto casino and sportsbook. Users can trade contracts on the outcomes of events related to politics, technology, and pop culture with yes or no options, and they can sell contracts even before the outcomes are finalized. Each winning contract is settled at $1, and the contract prices reflect the judgments of market participants. The prediction market is a platform for trading contracts that settle based on the outcomes of real-world events, with prices indicating the likelihood of specific outcomes occurring. Since launching its first original game, Minds, on June 18, Metaspins has integrated the prediction market feature to provide a platform that combines its own games with sports betting and event contracts. According to CoinGecko data from Q2 2026, the nominal trading volume in the prediction market reached $113.8 billion, a 48.7% increase from the previous quarter. Market shares were reported as Calci at 58.9% and Polymarket at 30.2%. The prediction market is expanding beyond politics and sports into financial markets, and Metaspins is differentiating its licenses by service. Ongoing debates surrounding regulatory status continue, with unresolved lawsuits related to prediction markets exceeding 30 cases.
