Woman Found Dead in Mar del Plata After Fake Job Interview
The Justice Department of Mar del Plata is investigating the murder of Juana Mailén Antonich, a 25-year-old mother of two girls. The young woman disappeared last Friday after leaving her home to attend a supposed job interview. Her body was found on a beach in the southern part of the city. The main hypothesis is that the invitation was fake, used to lure the victim. According to her mother, she was contacted via Facebook and was asked to go to a non-existent 'Balneario Punta Mogotes Cero', where a taxi driver was waiting for her along with three other individuals. The woman had informed her family about the interview but stopped responding to messages, which led her family to search for her. After the discovery, the Scientific Police preserved evidence at the scene, and the prosecutor ordered an autopsy and analysis of phones and security cameras. Investigators are trying to determine if the fake interview was part of a premeditated plan and whether there are more people involved. The case remains under secrecy.
