Metin2, the online multiplayer role-playing game published by Gameforge in Turkey, has launched a ban relief program called Second Chance for banned players. The program started on June 1 and lasted until June 30, allowing banned accounts to be reassessed. However, only accounts with characters at level 70 or above and that have not cheated in the past were able to benefit from this program. Gameforge stated that the program was a pilot project and announced that applications have closed. The company will decide whether to extend a similar program to other regions by evaluating application data and community feedback. Currently, there is no official announcement regarding the extension of the program. Metin2 developers emphasized that applications from accounts banned for cheating and bot usage will not be accepted, noting that the risk of such practices has increased. Players prefer Metin2 won options from trusted marketplaces to make a quick start in the in-game economy without jeopardizing their accounts.
