Volume of Credit and Debit Transfers in Ukraine Reached 1.4 Billion Transactions in Six Months
Prefer us on GoogleFrom January to June 2026, over 1.4 billion payment transactions were conducted in Ukraine using credit transfers and direct debits, totaling nearly 27.5 trillion UAH. In the first half of 2025, there were 1.6 billion transactions amounting to 22.5 trillion UAH. Of these, 1.1 billion transactions (77.18%) were initiated by individuals, while the total amount of 25.6 trillion UAH (93.13%) came from business entities. External transfers to Ukraine exceeded 4 million, amounting to 36.95 billion USD, while over 1.4 million were sent from Ukraine, totaling 50.62 billion USD. There were 2.7 million transfers received by individuals from abroad (66.22% of the total), and businesses transferred 50.31 billion USD (99.40% of the total outgoing transfers). The main sources of incoming funds were: EU - 47.18%, Switzerland - 19.04%, USA - 11.04%. In the first quarter of 2026, cashless transactions amounted to 1.23 trillion UAH, increasing by 14.8% compared to the previous year.
