Voice actor Carlos del Campo passed away on August 2, 2026, as reported by his family on social media. His daughter, Abril Ramos, shared a message on Instagram expressing the pain of their loss: "With deep sadness, we inform you of the passing of our father Carlos Nicolás Ramos del Campo. We love you, your children Abril and Carlos Ramos, and my mom Doris Vargas. Rest in peace." Del Campo was recognized for his work in franchises such as Toy Story, where he voiced Slinky, and in Star Wars, as C-3PO. He also participated in Harry Potter, portraying Peter Pettigrew. His career spanned several decades, starting in the 1970s with The Muppet Show, and his versatility made him one of the most recognizable voices in dubbing in Mexico and Latin America. The family has not revealed the causes of his death.
