Vitalik Buterin presents an updated plan for the Ethereum network, with a strong emphasis on protection against quantum computers. Quantum safety is now the top priority, meaning that Ethereum is preparing for the possibility that powerful quantum computers could break current security methods. In addition to quantum safety, improvements are also being made, such as stronger privacy for users and faster transaction processing through native rollups. Buterin aims to simplify the underlying code of Ethereum so that modern artificial intelligence can assist in error detection. This update comes at a time when Ethereum also holds a dominant position in the market for tokenized assets, with nearly 70 percent of the collateral in this sector running on Ethereum.
