In July 2026, the transaction volume of virtual asset payment cards reached $1.07 billion for the first time on a monthly basis. This figure represents the usage volume rather than price transactions, indicating discussions around the usability of virtual assets. The number of transactions was approximately 2.29 million, with around 409,900 active wallets recorded, and the average payment amount per transaction was about $467. By service, Ledopay accounted for about $514 million, making up approximately 48% of the total transaction volume, while KAST recorded about $253 million and Etherpay about $111 million. Virtual asset payment cards are services that connect the cryptocurrency or stablecoin balances held by users to the card payment network, serving as a supplementary indicator of virtual asset usage due to their connection to actual payments. However, it is difficult to definitively determine the overall growth rate of the market based solely on this figure, and the high proportion of specific services should also be taken into account. Further data verification is needed.
