Ukraine Prepares Road Projects Worth $1.2 Billion

Ukraine is implementing a portfolio of investment projects in road infrastructure with the potential to attract over $1.2 billion. The program includes major repairs, construction, and expansion of roads, development of roadside services, and safety systems. Key priorities include the modernization of border routes with repairs of 196 kilometers of roads from Lviv to the checkpoints of Rava-Ruska, Krakovets, and Shehyni; upgrading the Yagodin-Kovel-Lutsk route, which is 128.3 kilometers long; and constructing a Northern bypass of Lviv, measuring 23.2 kilometers. There are also plans to create 10 modern service areas and install 35 WIM complexes to protect the road surface from overloads. Since the beginning of the year, over 16 million square meters of roads have been restored in Ukraine, despite the military conditions.
