Toss Securities is officially launching an Open API service that integrates the functions of stock price inquiry, order placement, and account inquiry for both domestic and international stocks for all customers. This service, which started on the 13th, expands the usage of mobile securities services through integration with large language models (LLMs). The Open API is an application programming interface that allows customers to connect financial data with programs they create or external services, enabling investment strategies to be linked with code or external tools. This API provides a unified interface for domestic and international stocks, divided into functions for authentication, price and stock information, account and asset management, order placement, and conditional orders. The order function includes creation, modification, cancellation, and inquiry, while conditional orders automatically generate buy and sell orders based on specified conditions. Investors can connect their Open API key to external LLMs like ChatGPT and Claude to request inquiries and orders in natural language. This launch is an example of how domestic securities platforms are connecting AI tools with trading infrastructure, and Toss Securities has surpassed 10 million cumulative account sign-ups. Toss Securities plans to support investors in implementing their investment strategy systems through the Open API service.
