The U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has launched S&P 500 perpetual contracts under its proprietary trading program, Kraken Prop, providing round-the-clock exposure for qualified traders. This product is priced based on an index oracle, has no expiration date or roll-over requirements, supports up to 5x leverage, and allows a maximum notional exposure of $1,000,000. Kraken plans to expand into more traditional assets, including commodities, in the future. The starting price for the Kraken Prop assessment program is $20, and successful participants can receive funded accounts ranging from $5,000 to $200,000.
