Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that the security of the Persian Gulf region should be jointly maintained by the countries in the area, advocating for the resolution of regional security issues without external interference. He mentioned that Iran has submitted and documented evidence to the United Nations Security Council regarding attacks on Iran from the territories of other countries, including a few direct attacks. Araghchi pointed out that regional countries have realized that the escalation of conflicts and ongoing military actions pose a serious threat to their own security, and he believes that the conditions for resuming security dialogue among Persian Gulf countries are now ripe.
