Ethereum Whale Transfers MKR Held for Over 7 Years, Realizing $1.506 Million Profit

On August 9, on-chain analysts detected a whale that acquired 40,000 ETH through an ICO in 2015, transferring its holdings of MKR after seven years. This whale purchased 7,020.84 MKR at an average price of $828.92 between September 2018 and May 2019, totaling $5.81 million. Four hours ago, the whale transferred 3,510.42 MKR to a new address for the first time, worth approximately $4.41 million, and this portion has currently realized a profit of $1.506 million, with no transfers or sales made yet.
