He pointed out that during this week's Hong Kong FinTech Week, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced the "Fintech 2030" strategy. The strategy focuses on four key areas: data and payment infrastructure, artificial intelligence, technology resilience, and financial tokenization. Over 40 specific measures were proposed with the goal of developing Hong Kong into a robust, resilient, and forward-looking international fintech hub. Hong Kong's two flagship innovation and technology centers—the Hong Kong Science Park and Cyberport—saw their startups raise a total of approximately HK$6 billion in funding over the past year.
