A large wallet holding Chainlink (LINK) has transferred 2,138,100 Chainlink to a Gnosis Safe account. This amount is valued at approximately $1.87 million (around 2.65 billion KRW). On-chain analytics revealed that this wallet withdrew Chainlink from Binance two weeks ago before moving it to the Gnosis Safe account. The identity of the wallet owner and the purpose of the transfer have not been disclosed. This movement represents a case where Chainlink has been moved out of an exchange to a separate custody account. Gnosis Safe is designed as a multi-signature wallet structure that requires approvals from multiple signers to move assets. However, the mere fact that it was moved to a multi-signature wallet after being withdrawn from an exchange does not clarify whether it is for storage, operation, or internal organization. Chainlink is the token of an oracle network that connects off-chain prices, data, and event information to smart contracts. On-chain observations indicate that large wallet transactions in and out of exchanges are one of the indicators monitored by market participants. However, a single movement from a specific wallet is not sufficient data to explain price direction. The actual trading activity must be confirmed through subsequent transactions such as re-deposits to exchanges, swaps, collateral deposits, or additional movements to broaden the assessment scope.
